Analyse the client’s hair and scalp and perform a sensitivity test before you start the treatment.
At the basin
Shampoo the hair using Nourish Clarifying Shampoo. If shampoo doesn’t lather it means the hair is not clean. Continue shampooing until shampoo lathers and hair feels clean. For hair with a lot of build-up and product you may need to leave the shampoo on for 5 minutes. Rinse the hair thoroughly.
At the workstation
Towel dry hair to remove excess water and power-dry until the hair is 70%-90% dry.
If you notice that the scalp is dry, sensitive or is damaged apply All Protect Argan Oil Scalp Insulator to these areas after hair is power-dried.
Divide the hair in 4 quadrants and start the procedure from back to front. Set the timer for 20 minutes. Put on gloves. With a tint brush combo comb apply the product onto small sections starting from roots to ends, taking care not to apply directly to the scalp. Ensure that there is no wastage. You may have to use more product on highlighted/bleached hair as it absorbs more product. You need to finish the application within 5 minutes of the timer going off.
Once the timer goes off, divide the top half of the hair
altogether, ensuring that there is no path. Blow-dry each section (starting from the bottom section first worked on) until it is 100% dry and comb gently. Flat iron hair (230°C for normal hair and 200°C for bleached hair) in small sections, at least 6 to 8 times each until you see the hair shining.
Finish as desired.
Hair to be left loose and to be only washed 2-3 days later with Nourish Sulphate Free Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner.
